Brilliant time had last night with our friends. We came from Rochester, Kent to celebrate the New Year in Eastbourne and weren’t disappointed.All staff were very friendly and there was a lively happy atmosphere. Special mention to the dedication of the DJ who overcame adversity such as spillages etc to keep the music flowing. Thanks to all. Amanda (with the necklace lights!)

I popped in here on two consecutive evenings between Xmas & New Year. Great pub, fantastic atmosphere with very friendly staff. They made it very special and welcoming. Cheers

Popped in after a long walk, pub was very busy but managed to get two stools at the bar. Staff very friendly nice pint of John Smiths, did not eat but the food that came out looked very tasty and there were a lot of empty plates.

We went there for a birthday, booking for 9 was easy, and they let us bring the cake in.
Food and drinks very good, nice staff. Very noisy because a football match was being broadcasted, but that's the typical British pub's atmosphere!

This is by far the best pub in Eastbourne.
Great food, clean and friendly. It’s really close to the town centre but far enough away to be a good friendly local and just off the prom for a lovely lunch.
Highly recommend you make this your regular watering hole.

We stayed at the Shore View and ate in here on the Saturday night. They had live music on, chap singing on his own, he was very good. The lovely Roz looked after us and made sure we were ok for drinks. Food lovely and reasonably priced, will definitely be back!

Weekend away with Husband. Walking round Eastbourne to find somewhere to have a drink as staying at a local hotel. Came across this pub, looks welcoming from the outside. What a great find. Great ambience. Mixture of couples and singles, mix of men and women. Few TVs showing sport, but they’re not huge and overbearing. Staff welcoming. Fire burning. By far the best bit for me is the extensive vegan menu. As we are staying in a local hotel that includes dinner we haven’t eaten, but it can be incredibly hard to find some where that caters for dietary needs. This menu is one of the best I’ve seen. Plenty of options, starters, mains and deserts. Not one sorbet on the menu !! If you’re vegan you’ll understand what I mean !! Keep doing what you’re doing. Great pub.

Popped in to see if the pub was dog friendly, it was so we had a drink and looked at the menu, that looked good so we returned later for food. Excellent food freshly prepared.
Staff were excellent even bringing your drinks to the table. Has a sports bar so watched Wales win their first six nations game. Live music at weekends and you can reserve tables. Excellent, a really good find and dog friendly to boot!
