Fabulous gem of a restaurant. Fantastic staff and service. Lovely warm welcome, gorgeous food, great portions. We had such a lovely night we will be going back next week to sample some more ! Really personal service and beautiful decor. Reminded us so much of Tavernas on our travels to Greece and of Bistros in France. Would highly recommend :-)

Great food and excellent service! We will definitely return. Nice quirky Mediterranean atmosphere even on an autumn day in Sussex.
Starters were goats cheese with honey and Balsamic glaze...superb! Also garlic mushrooms which were OK but would have benefited from the garlic being cooked a bit more, with maybe some butter and Parsley. I'd go for the hats cheese myself too next time.
Mains were roast pork belly and bouillabaisse...both outstanding!
Think our waitress was Adriana? Sorry if we got the name wrong but she was great.

The food is absolutely top notch in a Mediterranean setting , everything is cooked to perfection, there’s always great deals on and friendly staff . There’s a great selection of drinks for everyone , well recommended

Moved here 6 weeks ago and first time trying our local restaurant. All I can really say is wow. Food was amazing I had a veg pizza and was really nice. all 4 of us loved our meals Love the way they have created an outdoor space indoors made it look really authentic French. We will be returning for sure

Had such a lovely evening, all staff were amazing couldn't do enough. Pizza was delicious 😋. Our taxi cancelled on us last minute but straight away we were offered a lift back! Thanks for a fab evening from 6 of us and 2 dogs. Just to top off really enjoyed the homemade tipple! ❤️

Once again, Masillia Bay did not disappoint ! Myself and two Girlfriends went for Sunday Lunch. It was amazing. I had the Porchetta, my favourite, one had Lamb and the other the Steak. Sooo tasty and not skimpy on the portions ! All the potatoes and veg and gravy were perfect. Such a lovely atmosphere, fab service and they genuinely make you feel right at home ! My two friends each had a crepe with sugar and lemon for dessert and they were delicious. Will be back with my Husband to this absolute gem again.

This is such a lovely hidden gem! The decor created such a nice atmosphere inside, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were all so friendly.
It was a shame however that two parents allowed their children to shout, scream, and run around the restaurant for the entirety of our meal which left us all with headaches. I understand this is a difficult situation for restaurant staff but I think a polite word could be had with parents of misbehaving children to enforce appropriate behaviour or to leave, as it was entirely unfair on other patrons.

My husband and I visited last night for the second time along with my Sister and husband. The first time it was a very good experience but sadly not this time.
First of all there was no T bone steak available, then my Sister got given the wrong starter so we had to carry on eating without her. My husband ordered a Cruzcampo beer but was told it had run out so they suggested Leffe. After having one pint of Leffe he ordered another but they only served up a half pint as they said there was no more and at 9.30pm they started clearing up the restaurant to leave and on a Saturday night it was sadly disappointing to be sitting there feeling like we had to leave. So we did! We wouldn’t bother coming again.
On a good note we found the Castle pub which had live music so could continue our evening there.
