A welcoming 3 star hotel in a handy location
I was expecting a 3 star hotel on tbe seafront opposite the pier and that's what I got. It was a great location for walking the dog along the Marine Parade. I also loved the easy access to all the central shops, cafes and restaurants. The charity shops in Esstbourne are fabulous! The family that runs the hotel also couldn' t have been kinder and more accommodating.
The are is not safe. Very run down, lots of homeless people, inebriated people and on substances on the streets. You see streetwalkers, drug deals and common asssults. I was not harassed apart from when I intervened to stop a man assaulting a woman. He then verbally harassed me, a couple of shopkeepers backed me up.
