Great location
Great sea view and lots of space in the room, with a good breakfast.
The hotel is quite tired and in need of renovation.

Lovely place in a lovely location.
It is a grand old hotel which retains lots of charm and character. The dining room and bar have wonderful sea views.
One of the lifts was not working but there was an alternative lift and the stairs!

Stayed for 2 nights while watching the Eastbourne tennis.Yes we'd do it all again!
Great sea front and central location and staff go out of thier way to help you
Parts of the building are a bit dated and needs modernising but the bits we saw weren't as bad as some of the reviews I've read! We didn't use the lift but it does look like a collectors item!

Great value for money
Location perfect. Big spacious room. Great value for money. Will stay again next year for the tennis
The decor on the outside of the hotel needs painting. The fan was really weak. The window didn’t stay open we had to wedge something there. The toilet was down a very long narrow space

Burlington could do better
The position & we could park. The lift was an advantage.
Didn't like shower over bath. Very dangerous. Food not good from bar. Fish & chips had been sitting somewhere. Was not fresh.

Size of rooms..comfy beds, Friendly staff, great breakfast
The hotel is really tired looking both inside and out, but appreciate it would cost so much to bring back to it's hayday

Friendly staff, clean, comfortable room, excellent variety at breakfast, central location of hotel and proximity to beach.

Good location. Useful to have a carpark, but cost £6 per day. Friendly staff.
Reasonable breakfast. Didn’t stay for evening meal. Good size room but we did book a superior.
We were staying during the very hot weather and there was a fan in the room which we were very grateful for.
Needs a lick of paint outside. Room not serviced. When I asked reception they said that we had to request a room service, really????
So I requested a room service. Still not done next day.
A couple of small maintenance issues, blind and door sticking. Also reported.
