I came to Eastbourne to visit friends & was looking for somewhere comfy & reasonably priced to stay. I stay at The Burlington & had a room with a sea view. This was beautiful & I had a view of the pier. The hotel itself has lovely Victorian charm & I had a nice double room with tea & coffee provided. I can't fault the staff, they were friendly, chatty & the service couldn't have been better. They found out I was dairy free & went out of their way to provide a dessert I could eat in the evening after my main meal. The food was also really nice & very reasonable! Breakfast was also lovely, all the usual options & lots of hot food. I would definitely stay again. I can imagine it's absolutely beautiful in summer.

Jack & The Beanstalk 28/12/22. Pantomime at its best!! 10/10. Great cast, costumes, stage scenery. West end quality at half the price. Venue, Royal Hippodrome, fine example of theatrical splendour. It's traditional and better for it! Professional team on duty floor and bar. Unbelievably ALL VOLUNTEERS! Why!?? The theatre couldn't keep going without them plus donations! So GO, support and enjoy!! JM 😃🎭

Just watched Jack and the Beanstalk. It was hilarious, one of the best pantos I’ve been to in a longtime. We will defiantly be going back next year.

We visited to see Jack and the beanstalk Panto 2022, we took all the family as it was so reasonably priced. I have to say it was a fantastic show that entertained all of us, the youngest being 5 and the oldest 70. There was something in it for all of us, so many adult laughs which flew over the kids heads. All of the staff were so helpful and really friendly especially with my 70 year old disabled mother. We have seen many pantos over the years and this one really was perfect as we were also able to visit the Santas grotto before hand which is also at the Hippodrome. The kids really enjoyed that too. Great show, great cast, might even go back after Christmas, it is definitely the best panto in Eastbourne this year I think.
