fantastic stay
the breakfast had plenty of choice and was very nice. staff were excellent, Room was good worth paying extra for superior room.

Lovely clean room and great breakfast

A pleasant and convenient stay, though the property could use some updates.
The hotel had a great location, comfortable rooms (it was a warm sunny weekend and the rooms were very warm; but unsure what it would be like in the winter), and friendly staff who were always helpful.
Some areas of the hotel felt a little dated and could benefit from refurbishment - like creaky floorboards. But then it was built in 1855 so there is a reason for the creaks.
