It was a Victorian hotel so don’t expect ultra modern but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff, particularly the gentleman in reception was just so helpful all the time. The hotel was preparing for Christmas so had a lovely atmosphere. There was entertainment and an enormous dining area and all overlooking the sea.

A great traditional and historic seafront hotel with well appointed rooms and two lifts, right by the pier, and within easy walking distance of everything you need for an enjoyable break in Eastbourne

I know most of the hotels in Eastbourne as I worked in them through the 80s and 90s however I’ve never stayed at the Burlington but I would do again very friendly only had a single room at the back but it was comfortable good bathroom and warm Would definitely stay again
