I got what i paid for , as I got a discount not only from the hotel ,but from Booking . com too.
The bar meals were very good and quickly served and the price was very fair .
The breakfast was good to excellent though the hot plate machine was not working and the breakfast quickly turned cold before finishing , The staff were helpful and polite . Well, I asked for a sea view and a smart T.V.. I was told This would be provided at no extra cost . What I got was a half sea view on the end of the building and a smart T.V. with no internet link . This rendered the T.V. useless for watching a Netflix film streamed from my phone . After getting back from the theatre there was not much on T.V. so we went to sleep early .
Had I known that the smart T.V. had no connection , I would have brought a laptop with me .
The single radiator was hardly warm enough to heat the room and my partner put towels over the quilt . Plus there were no extra pillows which we could have done with .
When leaving you tried to charge us 40 pounds for meals we had not had in the Restaurant and had to provide proof that we had quick spaghetti meals in the bar area which were paid for at the time . The staff were very apologetic when shown the debit receipt on my partners phone . But suppose we had paid cash , with out a hard receipt we would have had to pay the forty pounds. Generally I think the room we had could have done with a renovation and a new sink . It was a standard room which I would have classed as barely 2 stars .

Good value for money and in one of the best locations. A top choice when we come to visit.
Location is excellent, breakfast was very good, staff helpful and friendly but rooms need some tlc !

Good stay great staff, close to sights shops ect good for decanted facilities
Disabled access, disable shower and equipment, fabulous staff, good food and service, close to all amenities on sites
Bedroom service not brought clean cups
