Grand old hotel in central Eastbourne. Front rooms had superb views of the pier and sea.
It’s seen better days and has lacked investment for decades. Old carpets and old bathrooms. Lifts are old too - but quirky

Bed clean and comfortable, bathroom good and as I wasn’t expecting too much for the price I paid, it was acceptable
Staff very friendly. Great location.
Room smelt a bit damp with peeling wallpaper and dirty curtains. The cleaner needs to be more thorough as I found what appeared to be a bit of dried dog poo under the dressing table at the back which was clearly visible. Also right by the bed something was stuck to the wall which I removed. Other than the fact that the room needed renovating it was ok for the price paid.

Loved the location of this hotel. we had a fabulous sea view. The hotel staff were all lovely and so helpful. We had a meal at the hotel , the food was delicious. We would definitely stay at The Burlington again.

Great value hotel in a prime location with superb staff
Excellent location on the seafront, right infront of the pier and only 10 mins walk to the town centre & rail station.
Staff were excellent at this hotel and the food (I had breakfast and dinner) was pretty decent. Andrew the entertainer (quizmaster & singer) was great! It looks a bit shabby in parts and the lift is small and temperamental.
But I would definitely stay here again.
