All was good. Yes it’s a little tired but see past that and look at the location, views, a bit of entertainment, proximity to the town centre and facilities and walks and the friendly staff and you can’t beat it

Lovely birthday weekend 😊
Couldn’t fault the breakfast! Great food and the best coffee!!
The room was amazing with coffee machine, kettle, tea, chocolate, biscuits etc
Best shower ever had in any hotel too! If I have to say something then maybe it’s just a bit too hot in the hotel but we could open our windows so our room was fine!

Refreshing break away from home . A lovely change of scene to blow away the cobwebs
Great view from the room and very good location. Parking facilities also make it a good choice. Seafront bar is nice to have a drink in.
Breakfast is good although not really feeling the love for the tea urns.

A friendly, comfortable hotel in an excellent location.
Warm comfortable room with big bathroom. Excellent location near pier and restaurants. Friendly staff. Very welcoming after a day of winter walking. Good value
Exterior of building in need of maintenance. Breakfast adequate but somewhat mundane.

Apart from the meal , fine.
Room clean and roomy.view was excellent. Majority of staff were very polite , friendly and helpful
No instructions to operate the shower and coffee machine.
We paid fo dinner one night and had problems with a waitress who despite checking with receptionist didn’t believe we had paid.My wife’s meal was fine but mine was ruined by unwanted dressings on the starter and runny apple sauce poured over the pork main course.
I should have been asked if i wanted these as they were not mentioned on the menu. It spoilt my meal. I didn’t make a fuss as it was my wife’s birthday and our wedding anniversary and I didn’t think it appropriate.

Nice
Initially we were shown a poor room which was cold and had a single bed which we had not booked. The hotel were quick to realise their mistake when I returned to reception and the room we were given was large, warm and very comfortable
The heating couldn’t seem to be turned down overnight
