I was made most welcome when I arrived, because of my Asperger syndrome I needed a lot of reassurance & Judy the owner was a real star ⭐️ bless her!! One ☝️ in a million!! Nothing was too much trouble for her & she truly went the 2nd mile for me!! I found ALL the other staff fantastic & the breakfast 🍳 was truly tasty πŸ˜‹ πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘!!!!!
All in all, if you want to get away from it all & just chill out, this is the place to come & you won't be disappointed!! I have visited many B & B's but this is simply the best!!
Last but not least Judy knew I needed a quiet room due to the Asperger syndrome & the fact that I needed a real break, a great πŸ‘ host!! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

We have stayed at the Sheldon several times and this time was as usual very good in all ways. When we booked in we learnt that there was a small water problem with the room we were due to have so we had been upgraded to a much larger room. All was good including the breakfast. It was only a one night stay this time but would have no concern about longer if the future .

We stayed at The Sheldon for two nights [two adults and three children] in one familyroom. A very nice and cozy hotel near the seaside and few minutes walking to the city centre. Clean and quiet rom and nice staff.
Lost the fifth star because of no glutenfree alternatives for breakfast, even if the meny said so.

We booked last minute a 4 night stay and had a lovely relaxing holiday.
Nice, spacious, lovely and quiet bedroom, good and large bed, nice bathroom. (we only are used on less daylight in the morning, (blackout curtain?)) Breakfast was fine - full English on request, very well cooked, cereals , yoghurt. (I myself would have loved also some extra pastries/bread(roll) than toast). Location is excellent, near the center but quiet and a bonus is the carpark. We loved the personal touch of Judith and thank her for the extra tourist info. We would love to come back together with our daughter.

Great location, large room, very basic could be more comfortable and clean Great location, large room, free parking, friendly staff My room wasn’t the cleanest, quite a lot of hair in the carpet and a dirty toilet brush. These aren’t things i was looking out for, they were very obvious to me. Also my room had large east facing windows and I was up from 5.30am as the sun streamed through the blinds onto the bed. I think the bare minimum for a bnb room where people come to sleep is that the room is dark. When I raised this politely with reception I was told that not everyone likes curtains.

Clean, Welcoming, Near Seafront, great B & B Nice friendly welcome by the receptionist. Lovely big clean room. Cooked breakfast was 10/10. Enjoyed our one night stay. Aim to come back soon. Parking at the rear of property was a nice plus to this B & B. Nothing at all to complain about.

Altogether a pleasant experience. We will be back. Good friendly welcome, plus a free upgrade, without us even asking. Thank you very much. We certainly enjoyed the extra space, and comfort.

Good but rather expensive. Private parking is good, but limited. Room was a good size. Breakfast was very good. Rooms showing signs of age. Toiletries were poor quality.
