Lovely setting, gorgeous gardens - formal & informal & very well organised for social distancing. Great picnic venue! Fab for dog walking. We recommend.

This is a rare hidden gem, beautiful castle and grounds lots to see, the tea room had excellent food, I recommend the guided tour of the castle, it is very interesting ( it gets booked up quickly so go early) best of all it is the best value for money I have come across in along time, I would highly recommend.

Despite both the castle and cafe being closed the gardens and woodland walks are a treat to enjoy on a sunny day. Plenty of wooden statues, noisy guinea fowl and busy fish in the moat to catch your eye
