Absolutely beautiful day out. Lots of information to read. Lots of nooks to explore within the castle with lovely, kind, and knowledgeable staff. Beautiful views of the surrounding area. There are lots of steps leading to different areas as is to be expected. We brought our own lunch and there's lots of benches around to sit down. There's also a car park that's free to English Heritage members, and toilets with accessible cubicles next to the car park that were clean.

We saw the Wizard of Oz last night and this show has something for the whole family. It’s very professional and the cast are amazing. A really friendly theatre with fantastic volunteers. The theatre has recently undergone a massive refurbishment and it’s looking great. The show was sold out and it is so good to see this gem of a theatre entertaining families at reasonable prices. Well done to all involved.
