This place is like a hidden gem. The grounds are so fun to explore in and the castle tour was quite fun. Our guide was very friendly and fun and provided lots of great information about the architecture and history. Admission is not expensive and we spent hours here. The little cafe on site is cute and has good prices. Definitely recommend

FANTASTIC CASTLE, FANTASTIC GARDENS, FANTASTIC TOUR GUIDE (Brian).<br><br>Okay seriously though. Even though this castle is 21st century on the inside it still is a fortified Manor (Small castle) it's beautiful, huge, ancient, and so much fun.<br><br>They have a great little cafe for a traditional afternoon tea that was a great value at £6.50 each for a pot of tea, scone, jam, clotted cream, and a sandwich!<br><br>The Gardens are beautiful, from manicured gardens to the wild forest surrounding the castle it is a beautiful place to explore.

Wonderful building and gardens. Inside tour very interesting but a lot of original decor gone which is a shame. Will definitely go back to see rest of grounds.
