We booked the venue for our after-party event and everything was amazing! After our wedding at The Grand, we went to the private party venue at The Crown and Anchor and had food, music, dance, and drinks! - Everything was spot on.
We want to highlight the amazing service we received from the team, especially from their amazing Manager Ollie! He made the experience feel like 5*, he is just magic!
We highly recommend this place if you are planning an event in Eastbourne. Truly a gem in the area.

Absolutely amazing pub/restaurant. It’s so hard to find a pub that caters for all in Eastbourne. Whether you want a quiet drink, night out, family dinner or a wedding they will provide everything you need and more! The staff are so friendly, they go above and beyond to cater for your needs, the food is incredible, and the atmosphere is fantastic 🤩 right on the seafront for amazing views in the day time and local enough to be the place you need to end up on a night out! The menu never disappoints, substantial choices served at the highest quality 👌🏻 Professional and classy yet a little bit sassy to tailor everyone. Try this pub!!! You won’t be disappointed 😊

Had a beef roast with onion rings.Wife had a turkey roast.Step son had a burger.We all gave it 10 out of 10.Apple crumble and custard superb.Service was superb,staff are lovely.It was a fitting end for our mini hols to Eastbourne.

First meal at the Crown & Anchor: Sunday Roast Beef. Good ambience: sports area separated well from the non-sports area. Staff polite. Food well prepared but feel a really good Sunday Roast needs a good stacking of vegetables compared to an everyday pub meal.

I was there for the Thursday night trivia. Very enjoyable. Except when you see people using their phones during the quiz. Obviously cheating, i noticed it was mainly women. And it's not good enough for the organisers to ask other players to grass up who's responsible. They should be looking and checking themselves.

Tim came and priced the job. Andy came and did the final measurements. I delayed the job by a month and luckily for me they agreed. Over 2 hard working days Tom and Zach (Andy had a go) replaced 9 windows and a bi folding patio door. I’m very happy with their workmanship, product they’ve fitted, price (compared to Everest and Anglian) plus they are just a nice bunch of guys. Defo recommended.

Great welcome -although you walk quite a way around the castle to the entrance .
We took our 5 year old granddaughter but my husband used the audio guide and relayed lots of interesting ( and sometimes quirky) information to us .
It really gives a picture of what life in the Bailey would have been like . The exhibition is small but explains a lot .
Well worth a visit especially if you are English heritage members .

I've been coming to Eastbourne for years now and I have to say - this pub was always one to avoid in my book. I thought I'd give it a chance last week for the first time in years and I was shocked by the transformation! I had roast beef and my wife had lamb shank - both were lovely and very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and I can safely say I'll be going back on my next trip to Eastbourne, later in the summer.
