Nice cozy place if you are traveling alone. The purpose of the trip was to hike to the Seven Sister's Cliff.

The staff were excellent, friendly and efficient. I only went B&B, but the breakfast had a reasonable selection, and was regularly refreshed.
The building is in desperate need of some tlc, but having stayed in many Eastbourne hotels, this is normal, and THe Burlington is a little bit above average on this score.

It's worth the money. The room was not expensive, with a discount.

The property is so run down which is a shame as it’s a lovely building.
The carpets are stained and dirty and the place just looks dirty.
Maybe the cleaners don’t have enough time to do each room.
The staff where friendly

Pleasant, by the seafront and also not too far from the town centre.

This hotel is an older property probably built around the late 19th century. I liked the period decor especially in the dining room as it is spacious. The meals are good value and I consider worth considering if you stay here. Our room had a sea view and there was plenty of space. The bathroom/toilet area was fine for my wife and I as we are still quite mobile, but for persons with a disability or are not so physically fit, getting into the bath or shower could prove difficult. However, this appertains to our room, other rooms may be different. There is adequate parking at the rear of the hotel for which there is a daily parking charge. The hotel is situated within a few yards of the Pier and is only about ten minutes walk from the town centre. All in all it is very conveniently situated.
