The staff here went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and at home which was much appreciated. I’m in hotels most weeks and whilst the building itself could do with some love it’s a historic gem and the staff work super hard and are friendly, efficient and helpful. I had a brilliant night sleep and would definitely book again. It’s not the snazziest of hotels but it feels like home!

This used to be a lovely hotel but over the years maintenance has been rather lacking . I only had a single room but it was very 'tired' and in need of updating

Excellent value for a solo stay over in town, right next to a newly pedestrianised part of town which is an easy walk from the station and right on the seafront by the pier

location is great, staff lovely, just a little dated & needs a
little updating. a bit grubby in places & takeaway food smells coming through open window.

Clean hotel and rooms, staff were exceptionally nice and helpful , my partner cut his hand on a sharp edge of a door on the stairs which was reported , I do hope it was sorted , excellent buffet breakfast and great sea view room

Our room was clean and spacious, the staff & breakfast were all very good but the communal areas & external areas need decorating / refurbishment.
