Great location, staff were friendly and helpful.
Faded grandeur describes this hotel, the elevators were cramped and the restaurant served some of the worst coffee I have ever tried for breakfast.

Very good, as I say, will probably stay again and book a sea view room
A lovely traditional Victorian Hotel, which I loved. Staff lovely, breakfast excellent, location excellent - very central
The standard double room at the back of the hotel was very noisy. We could hear the kitchen fan from about 5.00am and it was unbearable. We had to move rooms and was put in a standard double room at the top of the hotel which was also very noisy, we could hear the fan and the sash windows rattled all night with the wind, it needed a bolt added to it. We feel rooms so near the kitchen fan should not be assigned to guests, only if we are pre-warned and they should have a massive discount. Would have to book a sea view front room if we stayed again, which would affect the price.

Decent room nice fairly firm bed but had a good night's sleep.
Shower /bath/toilet area bot cramped but nothing to complain about considering the price.

Wouldn’t want a longer stay than the overnight I had . Unless the issues had been sorted.
Friendly staff.
Mould growing round the windows , wallpaper lifted, needed redecoration badly . My room needs a complete revamp .

Perfect stay great value for money, would definitely be staying here again. Next time will try the bar.
It’s at a good location, when first walk in it’s very grand.
