I would like to say the staff were amazing. They were so friendly and helpful always smiling and chatty. They are an asset to the hotel.

Great for affordable sea view rooms !
Room with a sea view is always lovely. Staff were lovely and welcoming - and as we had a small dog gave her a big fuss!
It's quite basic given such a large hotel in an old building but clean and comfortable and recent freshen up on decor has smartened it up!

Nice large hotel on the sea front. Close to all amenities, lovely sea views
Rooms are nice, it is an old hotel so sash windows are stiff but expected. Our room had a lovely sea view and was a nice size (superior double). nice large separate bathroom
Breakfast was buffet and plenty of choice.
Nice that there was entertainment on Saturday night.
Great location to see the town Some parts of the hotel were grubby and tired, the stairs to the rooms were dirty to be honest.
Had to ask for shower gel and soap to be replaced as complete;y empty, which I would have thought was part of the routine checks
Breakfast was buffet and plenty of choice.

A great memory - hope to visit again.
I didn't expect a view - I thought the value was great. Much better than the current B&Bs I've had! I was particularly impressed with the breakfast! Also the staff were really pleasant. Lovely to sit at the front and look at the view.
It was further from the railway station than I was led to believe (walking distance).
