Came here on a Wowcher deal so was great value for money. Warm and friendly place with great staff, we even had a sea view room. Slight problem with breakfast on day 2, but lovely waitress sorted it out. Well worth a stay as right next to the pier.

Hotel was just as it said on website great value for money. We booked a double room but was given a twin. when we reported to reception they did give us a key to double room but it was far too small for us so we stays in the twin room which was bigger and more lighter. Breakfast was 7.50 each and was ok. Fully cooked buffet style english. with cereals juices coffee and toast. We booked through booking dot com and was told they do not do breakfast. Was also unaware that when booking in we was asked for photo i.d. and a deposit which was not taken off of our card. Hotel staff were very helpful and overall stay was good. Even entertainment was ok.

The food and staff were excellent! The hotel may need some attention,but, it has a great character! Will visit again. And my parents and I visited two years ago!

Great quality room (double with balcony). Bathroom is nice, modern and clean and the shower works well. Wardrobe could be better but still good. Bed is very comfy and clean, With good pillows and dovet.

We had a pleasant stay at Afton Hotel. It's quite basic but very comfortable and the staff were friendly. We didn't try the breakfast, so not sure about that. The location is perfect in this beautiful beach side town. Right opposite the Pier and close to the shops in town, walk to beachy head.

Stayed in a single room (302)nice and clean compact room everything you require,comfortable bed ,good size bathroom,only thing I had a problem with was regulating the shower very difficult to get the temperature right it was either cold or very hot ? Nice bar and sitting area , will definitely return 😎

I took advantage of a wowcher deal for two nights at the Afton Hotel. I found the staff very friendly, cheerful and helpful and my room was comfortable with everything I needed and had a good view of the pier from the window. The hotel supplies parking permits for only £1 a day, which were very useful, and as part of the deal a voucher for a free drink in the hotel bar- most welcome! The breakfast was good too.
Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would certainly stay at the Afton again.

The room was clean but the decor was old and dated,although everything was in good condition.
Our room was on the 3rd floor where the water pressure was very poor and it was almost impossible to have a shower.
Wifi only available in bar.

Nice hotel, close to the pier. We had a nice view, and the room was decent. The breakfast was nice, had a full English. Partner asked for no mushrooms, they gave it anyway (bad if it was an allergy).
