The hotel is located right across the street from Eastbourne's pier. Perfect location, close to town center and the beach. It is clean, with a very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are tiny, as you would expect from most British hotels. WiFi is not available in rooms, only in lobby.

Read TripAdvisor after booking then thought OMG what have I done, but it wasn't that bad.
Yes the rooms could do with an update but were clean. Staff were ok. Great location. Checked in early without a problem & paid a £1.00 for a parking permit so happy days

Super location - just by the pier and we were also lucky to get a parking space just outside. You can collect a parking permit from the hotel reception. Alternatively there is a NCP carpark just down the road. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Our room was fine - nice and clean with all the basics as expected with a 2 star hotel. We had a family room with came with bunkbeds for the children.

Great place and great location. It's very close to the pier and corner shops or restaurant and pubs. Room was clean and big providing enough space for 2 of us. The only negative is the Internet which wasn't available in the room. The password was provided but not the network.

The staff were attentive and efficient. The room was nice and clean. The beds were made and the towels changed daily. Finally the shower was excellent.

We have spent a lovely time in Eastbourne staying at the Afton Hotel, myself and my husband would definitely recommend this hotel. Our room was very nice and we had a lovely view of the sea from the room. The food was nice and the staff where very helpful and friendly.dated June 1916
