Roadworks along the promenade but that wasn’t the fault of the hotel. Also during the first few days of the first week i has to walk 3/4 mile to find somewhere to park as hotel car oark was full up

Lovely hotel & staff
The only moan I have is there is only one choice of egg for breakfast, & that is scrambled, I asked if fried or poached eggs were available but was told no.

Would have been good to be told about the works along the front, caused problems getting anywhere.
Food, staff really good, bed comfortable
Very run down, kept awake the whole of one night with the window rattling.
On the surface the bathroom looked clean but when the door was shut there was an accumulation of fluff and hair behind.

The staff were absolutely amazing — very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay.
The hotel felt quite old and had a strange smell. The bathroom really needed a deep clean with bleach. Parking was also quite expensive, which added to the overall cost.
