The Eastbourne Access Group is a voluntary community group that was formally created in 1981, the International Year of Disabled People. The group seeks to provide information, raise awareness and campaign on access issues for disabled people living with any physical, sensory, learning, mental health or cognitive impairment in Eastbourne and surrounding areas. The access group produces the Eastbourne Guide for Disabled People, available in print and on line at
