Join us on the 14th November 2020 for our virtual Winter Banquet, where you can dine in style from your own home in support of St Wilfrid's Hospice.

With a menu designed especially for St Wilfrid’s, using the highest quality ingredients, we’ll give you everything you need for a very special evening in, with a few extras to make your dinner even more memorable. 

Here’s how it works:

Before the event, pick up everything you need for the banquet from the hospice – a box of goodies that will include your starter and dessert, wine, table centre, instructions and, most important of all, the ingredients for your main course.

With your box of goodies at home, you will follow the instructions to make sure you’re ready for the meal to begin at 8pm. There will be a little preparation to do; perhaps a few ingredients to prepare, the table to set and getting dressed up for dinner. 

8pm: Sign in to the Virtual Banquet (you’ll have full instructions in your banquet pack).  Our event maître’d will welcome you and guide you through the evening. We’ll drink together, enjoy some online entertainment, a very special silent auction and, of course, the wonderful food.

You will then recieve an online masterclass to cook your main course with very talented chef, Jethro Carr. Live from his kitchen in Brighton, Jethro will guide you through, step by step, to create your perfect main course. 

Key info:

  • Dietary preferences can be catered for, you just need to let us know in advance.
  • Banquet packs will need to be collected from the hospice during the day of the event. Arrangements can be made for an alternative pick up point/delivery if you are unable to get to the hospice, but we will need to know in advance so we can make these arrangements for you. 
  • Starter and dessert will be pre-prepared but may involve simple additional preparation prior to serving.
  • Full instructions will be provided.

£60 per head

  • 3 Banquet courses – starter and dessert pre-prepared, ingredients for the main course
  • ½ bottle of wine per person (white or red available)
