Re-creating the music of the legendary artists who recorded on the famous Blue Note record label of the '50s and '60s - and still sounding exciting sixty years on. Horace Silver, Freddie Hubbard, Kenny Dorham - some of the greatest jazz musicians of the era were signed to the iconic Blue Note label. Tenor sax player Terry Quinney has re-created that music with his sextet, featuring trumpeter Andy Urquhart, with the brilliant Andy Panayi as guest on alto sax.
