Eastbourne’s annual Remembrance Sunday Service brings together military representatives, ex-service personnel, civic dignitaries, emergency services, local organisations and members of the public at the town’s War Memorial.
The traditional programme includes a military parade forming in the town centre from around 10:25am, followed by the civic parade from the Town Hall.
The service at the War Memorial begins at around 10:40am, with the national two minutes’ silence observed at 11:00am, followed by wreath laying.
A further parade traditionally follows along South Street after the service.
Please note: the detailed 2026 programme has not yet been formally published. Timings above follow Eastbourne’s established annual format and should be checked against the official council announcement nearer the date.
