Polegate Miniature Railway opens to the public for regular running days at Polegate Oaks, giving children and grown-ups the chance to enjoy a ride around this volunteer-run local attraction.
The railway is operated by Polegate and District Model Engineering Club, whose members maintain the track, locomotives and equipment and run public open days for the community.
There is no fixed charge for a train ride. Instead, visitors are invited to make a donation of any amount, helping the volunteers maintain and improve the railway for future running days.
The railway can be found within William Daly Recreation Ground on Brightling Road.
