St John’s Church is hosting an afternoon music concert featuring opera, oratorio and song from a varied programme of composers.
The musicians are:
Soprano: Yvonne Lloyd
Piano: William Hancox
Baritone/Bass: George Oakenfold
Piano: Brian Steer
The programme will include music by Mozart, Poulenc, Carlisle Floyd, Tchaikovsky and others.
Doors open from 3:30pm, with the concert beginning at 4:00pm.
There will be a retiring collection, with proceeds going towards the church organ and St John’s General Fund.
