Hailsham’s annual Christmas Lights Switch-On brings an afternoon and evening of festive activity to the town centre.
Vicarage Field and Hailsham High Street will host seasonal market stalls featuring handmade gifts, decorations, artisan food and drink, locally produced crafts and Christmas products.
There will also be live entertainment and community activities, with local schools and community groups taking part. Father Christmas is due to make an appearance courtesy of Hailsham Rotary Club.
The town’s Christmas lights will officially be switched on at 6pm.
The event is organised by Hailsham Town Council in partnership with local community organisations.
