Eastbourne Youth Radio (EYR) get ready for their 26th annual broadcast from 18th–20th November 2026 on 87.7FM and online at www.eyr.org.uk

Organised by the Eastbourne Education Business Partnership CIO - broadcasting from studios at East Sussex College in Eastbourne, Eastbourne Youth Radio returns to give students aged from 5–19 the opportunity to present their radio shows covering a wide range of topics.

This year will see schools from all over Eastbourne and the greater East Sussex area take to the airwaves to produce a wide range of content.

There will also be a special focus on Anti-Bullying Week and issues around mental health and wellbeing.

Working in partnership with local businesses and organisations

Eastbourne Youth Radio is only made possible by the generous support

Eastbourne & Lewes District Community Safety Partnership are back with Sussex Police discussing issues around knife crime.

Holding Space will be providing wellbeing support and Switchplane will be talking all things digital and their recent DigiFest event.

Many more contributions including Lansdowne Hotel, Walfinch Homecare, Up Country Stone Cross, PRG, RadioDGH, Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce, Seahaven FM and St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

Eastbourne Youth Radio provides young people the opportunity to research, produce, present and perform their own material in association with businesses and community partners.

From this they will learn and develop a wide range of employability and personal skills.

A new website will for Eastbourne Youth Radio will launch early October, where you can listen online or you can tune in on 87.7fm from Wednesday 18th November 10am – through to Friday 20th November until 4pm.
