
Around 2,000 athletes are expected to take part, supported by more than 100 volunteers and crew, with many spectators gathering along the seafront to cheer them on. The event has become a major highlight in the town’s sporting calendar and previously sold out in both 2024 and 2025.
Athletes begin with a sea swim in Eastbourne Bay before heading onto a closed road cycling route that climbs over Beachy Head and continues through the South Downs National Park. The final stage brings competitors back along the seafront for the run, creating a fantastic atmosphere for supporters.
The Standard Distance race also carries added prestige as a British Triathlon Age Group World Championship qualifier.
