
A very large scale Community Play with music with a cast of 44, the Eastbourne Silver Band, Printers Playhouse Community Choir, Concentus and a professional String Quartet - over 140 performers in the production.
It's a muggy day in Eastbourne and the local community kitchen is short staffed. Can they cook 200 meals and stay on speaking terms as tempers flare and disaster strikes? H.G. Wells, Eleanor Marx,George Meek and others do their best to help, amid shipwrecks and the bombs of World War 2 falling on the town.
Written by Suzi Hopkins, directed by Stephen Israel, and John & Viv Berry from the Printers Playhouse, with music composed/arranged by Rachel Dawson.
