Held at East Dean Village Hall, the market features more than 40 stalls inside the hall and in the car park. The range changes regularly, but you can expect fresh fruit and vegetables, breads, cheeses, fish, venison, pies and cakes alongside artisan crafts, jewellery, woodwork, plants, soaps, candles, preserves, spices, clothing, gifts, antiques and collectibles. Many items are handmade, locally grown or carefully sourced by independent traders from across the area.
The on site café opens from 9.30am, serving hot and cold food and drink including breakfasts, light lunches, bacon sandwiches, sausage baps, pastries, cakes and fresh coffee. It is an ideal spot to pause, catch up with friends and make a morning of your visit.
Free parking is available in the Horse Field, with disabled parking at the front of the village hall. The market is located just off the A259 between Eastbourne and Seaford, postcode BN20 0DJ.
A great way to support local producers while enjoying the charm of village life each week.
