Bram Stoker’s Dracula gets a very different treatment at The Grove Theatre this Halloween week.
Performed by just two actors, the production races through the familiar Dracula story with a distinctly British pantomime twist, including heroes, villains, a Dame, audience participation, songs and an ever-growing number of costume changes.
The cast switches rapidly between Dracula, his pursuers and the other characters they meet along the way, with the production becoming increasingly chaotic as the story unfolds.
The soundtrack includes Bat Out of Hell, Bad Moon Rising and In the Midnight Hour.
The show is suitable for families, but is not designed as a traditional children’s pantomime. It is recommended for ages 8+.
