The Beachy Head Marathon Weekend returns to Eastbourne for its 46th year, bringing runners, joggers and walkers to one of the most challenging and scenic off-road events in the country.
The traditional marathon follows a demanding route through the South Downs National Park, passing through Jevington, Alfriston and Litlington before returning towards the coast via the Cuckmere Valley, Seven Sisters, Belle Tout and Beachy Head.
Four distances form the weekend programme:
Saturday 24 October
Sunday 25 October
The Ultra combines the 10K route with the traditional marathon course to create a challenge of approximately 52.6km. The Half Marathon uses much of the established marathon landscape on a shorter route.
All races start and finish from Eastbourne Seafront at the start of the South Downs Way.
