A proud part of the Sussex bonfire tradition, Seaford Bonfire Society leads the town’s annual celebration with an evening that blends remembrance, heritage and community spirit.
The event begins with a torchlit procession through Seaford, followed by a bonfire and fireworks display at Martello Fields. A memorial service at the War Memorial forms an important part of the evening, honouring those who have fallen and adding a moment of reflection within the wider celebrations.
Supported by year round fundraising and dedicated volunteers, the society works to ensure this long standing tradition continues for future generations. Seaford Bonfire Society remains closely connected to Sussex’s wider bonfire heritage and the shared history that shapes it.
