Possability People (formerly The Fed) was started in 1981 to promote the independence and dignity of disabled people.

We are a Sussex based charity committed to helping you make more things possible for you in your life, no matter what your situation. We work with disabled people, older people, younger people, or anyone with an impairment or long term health condition.

We have a range of services to support you at home, give you moral support or expert advice on a range of issues (including welfare benefits and money advice).  We work closely with our partners in the public, private and health sectors to ensure the needs and aspirations of disabled people are considered and included in services and support.

We have a number of services in East Sussex, including an information service, outreach at Eastbourne Volunteers every Tuesday morning and at Eastbourne Job Centre Plus every Tuesday afternoon, supporting Eastbourne residents to find volunteering opportunities.  We also run employment projects and have an office in Hastings (at Hastings Voluntary Action).
