Founded in 1229 by Augustinian canons, Michelham Priory has evolved from monastic beginnings through Tudor dissolution and wartime refuge. Today it offers an immersive day out blending history, gardens and family activities. The grounds, ground floor areas and café are accessible, with wheelchairs available, and well behaved dogs on short leads are welcome in the grounds.
