Founded in 2017, Friends of Bishopstone Station was created by local residents determined to restore and protect the Grade II listed station building. Working alongside rail and heritage organisations, the group transformed the former parcel room into a thriving community hub, now home to activities ranging from art and sewing classes to yoga, language lessons and community gatherings. Ongoing restoration projects continue to preserve this remarkable local landmark for future generations.
