Throughout the summer, junior athletes at the club compete in the Sussex Under 13s and Under 15s Leagues, as well as County and English Schools events. In the winter season, they shift their focus to Sussex cross country competitions.

Senior members actively participate in various leagues, including the Southern Athletics League, the Sussex Masters League, the Sussex Cross Country League, the East Sussex Sunday Cross Country League, and the Sussex Grand Prix road running series.

Members of the club are privileged to have exclusive access to the all-weather floodlit track at Eastbourne Sports Park from 5:30 to 7:30 on Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout the year. These sessions are dedicated to training and coaching.

In addition to general training sessions catering to younger athletes, specialized training groups are available for sprinting, middle distance and cross country running, jumps, and throws. The club also offers popular road running groups, and members are advised to check the timetable for any off-site meetings.

All training sessions are led by qualified coaches who undergo regular DBS checks.

On Monday evenings, between 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm, from September to March, club members from all age groups traditionally participate in Circuit Training sessions at the Cavendish School Gym. The club is currently in search of a new venue to resume these sessions. For added variety, each of the Club Coaches takes turns devising and leading a 6-week program.

Access to all club sessions and participation in individual and group coaching is included in the annual membership subscription. There are no additional entry or coaching fees. Prospective members are encouraged to join and experience the world of athletics in Eastbourne!
