This is a wonderful shop! The owner is immensely knowledgeable and his stock is eclectic; I got upholstery tools, some marvellous chisels and gouges, super large diameter drill bits, and three lovely little antique cabinetmaker's planes. Good thing I don't live locally or I would be broke.

Travelled from Hastings to this little goldmine. My 17yr old Grandson wanted tools for Christmas. Wow, what a selection of good quality, used tools we found for him. I have managed to get him so many at a fraction of what they would have cost brand new. We even got ourselves some. Will definitely be going back for more.

Absolutely amazing place to get the one specific tool for that one specific job without breaking the bank or having to buy a huge set. although be warned, you may go home with more things than you expected as there is an amazing selection of all sorts of weird and wonderful tools that you never even knew existed.<br>The owner is very lovely and helpful too.<br>Great place. go here not halfords :)

Drove over from Hove with a shopping list just on the off chance I'd find something from my list. The friendly owner is very helpful and super knowledgeable about the tools he sells. Came home with 4 large F-clamps, two try squares (both perfect 90 degrees), 3 mortise chisels and a block plane all for an excellent price. This gem is down an alley between terrace houses so cannot get much passing trade. Even so there were people drifting in and out while we were there so must be largely word of mouth and no wonder as I don't know of anywhere else like it in the area. Hope this business thrives so I can keep using it!

This place is a total gem, I first encountered it buying thousands of zips at an amazing price.<br><br>I spent ages looking at all the available stock, much of which I desired :)<br><br>Everything is arranged beautifully and clear pricing. I'd rather buy from here than from amazon,b&q, etc.<br><br>Check it out, you won't be disappointed, what you got loose? Get more tools for you money and it's saving the planet :)
