This was my first visit to the Royal Eastbourne golf club. I was part of a team playing a match against their seniors. The course is undulating Downland adjacent to the South Downs but the holes follow the contours of the land so there are no steep lung busting climbs. The course was in fantastic condition with greens running true but not too slick. The 2nd cut rough was difficult but not impossible to play from and a suitable penalty for going off line. The clubhouse facilities are excellent and there is a spacious dining room. We had lamb casserole and seasonal vegetables and the food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. I had an excellent time there and I definitely want to play the course again. Hopefully I'll play a little better next time.

Just played the Inner 9 (Hartington Course) and it's in top condition, great fun to play especially as a beginner and the views are stunning!

Not a golfer but looks a great course to play. When closed during lockdown had several dog walks and scenery is magnificant! Been to a few events at the clubhouse and is most definitely a great venue!

Golf club closed due to the covid thing but it was nice for a walk but please respect the greens. Good for a walk round the outside of the course.
