This plaice, sorry for the pun is CASH ONLY, so beware no cards of any sort are taken. Bit old fashioned these days. They cook gluten free food on Tuesday and Wednesdays, with everything cooked to order so there is a short wait. But portions are good and nicely cooked.<br>Parking is not very easy.

My partner and I recently tried this fish and chippy. We struggled to find any that had gluten free options. I was happy to find these guys do and the batter honestly doesn't taste any different! I really appreciate the extra effort. Would reccomend to anyone. Lovely food. Lovely staff.

We have been coming here for years. Well so long infact, that the previous owner Mrs McVee had it<br><br>Unfortunately, the last couple of times has been dissappointing, so we are giving it a break for a while.<br><br>We will go back in time and I trust it is back to the standards we have become accustomed to. If so, I will up it to four or five stars.

A great traditional fish and chip shop. Been there for years. With the owner and regular staff, which are always friendly and happy. Plenty of traditional choices that you'd get in a chippy. Made often fresh on order. Reasonable prices. Usually plenty of free parking outside.
