Everyone is very friendly and helpful here. I’ve had 2 hacks here with family members who haven’t ridden before and is so nice for a lovely little mooch around the forest!!

Just had an amazing lesson with the amazing Heather. My first lesson back for quite a few weeks and this lady knows how to get you back on and keep your confidence up. Highly recommend 😊

What a wonderful place with kind owners. My mum who now lives in a care home was able to meet and stroke lovely calm horses. Will return. 👍❤️

My wife and I had a beginner lesson and went 'hacking' as an early valentine's day activity. Our instructor was lovely, encouraging, and even offered to take photos of us to mark the occasion. Would definitely recommend and we will probably go for more lessons

Great place! Friendly and helpful staff. My 9 year old daughter has been going for years and loves it. They also organise brilliant birthday parties for a very reasonable price and the children love every minute and have so much fun!<br>Only downside is there's only a portaloo and getting to it can be slippery in the muddy months lol!

We went on a group pub ride with 4 inexperienced riders, 1 having never been on a horse before. The young ladies at the yard were so helpful, polite and very knowledgeable. We can only apologise for the hundreds of questions we fired at them along the way. Fran led the group really well and ensured we felt comfortable when one of the horses got excited. The time allowed for the rides and at the pub was plenty and we felt relaxed the entire time.<br>The horses are all great characters and are clearly very cared for by all the staff/volunteers there.<br>The only thing we would have asked is to be made aware of the cash only policy prior to arrival. That could have been very awkward but had we been made aware, it wouldn't have been a problem at all.<br>We will definitely be retuning for another pub ride in the future. There can't be many better ways to spend an afternoon.<br>Thank you all

Both of my children have ridden here and are the ages of 2 years old and 6 years old. We come on different days of the week and all the staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble even when my son had doubts to get on, they were very calm and patient with him and he then rode.<br>Excellent to see such a hands on owner around the yard. All round amazing place and would highly recommend!!

Very muddy but that's England 😭 very friendly the children loved the ride foraging in the woods and grooming their mounts great birthday venue for horse lovers and macdonalds down the road what more could you ask for when you're 10 😁

Always love a visit to polegate equestrian center! Horses are very well looked after, staff are chatty and friendly and my youngest daughter always leaves with a huge smile on her face. We had a lovely ride on Jam today and she's not stopped talking about it! 10/10.

I had a lovely hack with Jess a few weeks ago and the week before that Alana gave me a knowledgeable stable management lesson and within that she taught me everything I needed to know in order to help around the yard. I felt very welcomed upon arrival and the horses were great. Will definitely be seeing me soon.

Bethan an Absolutely amazing instructor after 10 years of not getting on a horse, you've brought my confidence sky high after my hack and Very useful with tips and tricks, Bethan and Carly And Mia will definitely help you with your riding experience and expand on skills NEW OR OLD!!<br><br>Lovely group of helpers, kind and understanding of everyone's at different levels in there riding experiences.
