Stopped in after a beach walk from Sovereign Harbour. It's located just off the sea front with an open air garden at the rear.<br><br>Very traditional style seaside cafe, serving a good hot food selection and a pleasing range of cakes and pastries. Good coffee and very friendly staff. Clean, tidy and warm (slightly blustery day), with plenty of locals.<br><br>Highly recommended.

Pleasant surprise while driving around Eastbourne stopped to look at the English Channel and noticed a place to have lunch. Parked in the area out the back of the restaurant and entered by the rear door. You may require to book ahead, variety of servings available.

We've eaten here many times . Have to book a time on wk ends for lunch , food is really tasty and "very reasonably priced " staff are efficient and friendly. Can recommend pastry sausage rolls from bakery . Will be down early next year . HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL .

We found this great little traditional English Cafe a couple of years ago when looking to move down to Sovereign Harbour.<br><br>Well we are here now and this is our go to place for Sunday lunch. Only downside is it's so busy on Sunday you have to book.<br><br>The food is good home cooking nice and hot and extremely reasonably priced.<br><br>Katie the owner and staff are so welcoming and can't do enough for you. We have taken family and friends who have all loved the place.<br><br>Don't expect posh but do expect Tasty Hot food and very reasonable prices, served with friendly service.

What a gem! A lovely cafe that sells breakfasts, lunches and teas. The bread pudding is to die for and the tea and coffee were also very good. The is a beautiful garden that takes you out to the beach.

Typical fairly small seaside café has an outside space for eating. Service on the slow side despite there being quite a few staff but perhaps that's the effect of these laid back seaside atmosphere. Good looked good although only had cold food myself. Would on balance recommend trying it especially if you have a dog.
