When I contacted Viv I was less than 2 weeks postpartum and struggling with painful vasospasms that left me wincing in pain when trying to feed my newborn. At the time I’d stopped feeding him almost entirely and was expressing milk instead. Viv came to see me in my home as I was unable to get out following complications from my birth. I can’t express how helpful she was, she stayed for nearly two hours, listened, gave advice and she was so thorough, making points and asking questions I would have never even thought of. She showed me different positions I could try and even a trick on how to stop the vasospasms when they happened. She followed up with a detailed report which I received soon after. I couldn’t fault her service at all and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her, I’ve already sent her details to several friends.

The thing I must mention though is that the support did not stop there, she regularly sent me messages just to check in and see how I was doing, and has always been happy to answer any further questions I had. I messaged her recently in a right state as I had mastitis and my milk supply had dropped drastically overnight. She gave me some very calm and collected advice and calmed me down and lo and behold it returned to normal within a few days. Your postpartum period and breastfeeding as part of that is certainly one of the most vulnerable times of your life and it takes someone really special to be a shining light in times of darkness. I’m so pleased I chose Viv as my lactation consultant.

Vivien is truly amazing... She is extremely knowledgeable, very kind and gentle, goes over and beyond to help!
I wish I found out about her earlier... Breastfeeding was so imprtant to me but really struggled with it... Both the supply and the latching... and struggled to deal with it mentally...
My son had a tongue tie and had it cut very early (few days old) and didnt understand why he is not latching properly... Vivien just looked at him, how he feeds and trying to latch and told me straight away that he might need another cut, would have never knew if it wasnt for her... and even though I was too late for fully breastfeed, with Viven's help I was able to experience what it felt like to be able to properly breastfeed (without pain) even if those feeds were only 'snacks', it helped me to give my baby some breast milk and bond with him.. I will forever be grateful for her...
If I found her earlier, my whole story would have been completely different, so if you are looking for help, she is the one, and don't waste a day to get in touch with her...

I was struggling with my breastfeeding journey when my little one reached 3 months old and was thinking it may be coming to the end. I contacted Viv as I was really keen to continue and thanks to all of her amazing support, guidance, kindness and understanding I was able to continue my journey and not just meet my original goal but exceed it. I had a 1:1 consultation at home where Viv was able to observe a feeding and then was able to advise on different positions and talk through what I could do to improve things. Any questions I had she was able to answer with her wealth of knowledge and she listened patiently to everything I had to say. I really wouldn't have made it as far as
I did without her continued encouragement and reassurance via follow up messages. She always responded quickly to any question or worry I had. I also joined the brilliant exclusive online support group which had so many useful tips, articles and conversations with other mums that helped me feel like I wasn't alone in the journey. Thankyou Viv!

Vivi is AMAZING! My son Ted was born with posterior tongue tie that wasn't picked up for 10 days (when he had lost huge amount of weight). He was able to latch but wasn't transferring milk efficiently so my supply seriously dropped. I contacted Vivi and she's been incredible from the beginning! So so supportive and answers any questions I have, no matter how silly they seem.

She came to my house and assessed both Ted and myself and came up with an action plan and recommendations for bottles/pumps and all the things I would need for my breastfeeding journey.

The bottle recommendations she gave were particularly valuable as I later learnt of so many friends who made the wrong choice with bottles/teats and ended up with babies that preferred the bottle over the breast - we have not had that issue at all but had I continued using the bottles I originally bought (before meeting Vivi) I imagine we would have had issues.

I've been triple feeding for nearly 2 months now and Vivi is always there to help guide and support us in helping Ted gain weight and be successful on our breastfeeding journey. It may not be the breastfeeding journey I pictured I would have but Vivi has been there to keep me positive (and sane!) Her support has been instrumental in our success so far and I can't thank her enough! <3

Viv is one of a kind! ✨

I had a traumatic start to motherhood with a very poorly baby girl, alongside this she also had her tongue tie snipped twice and had extremely slow weight gain.

Viv came to my house and she spent a good few hours teaching me about how my daughter was feeding, different positions and answering the endless questions I had. I then received a detailed report of everything we spoke about along with recommendations of bottles, dummies, etc to try which have all helped improve her feeding so much. Viv has also tracked my daughter’s weight gain which has also improved greatly.

I can honestly say I don’t know what I would have done without Viv’s support and encouragement. It really got me through the hardest time in my life (so far) and I will be forever grateful. Viv - I will always recommend you to anyone who needs it and let everyone know what an amazing woman you are ❤️thank you ❤️

I met viv after i had my second baby and i wish i had her advice with my first as i was unsuccessful in breastfeeding him. I would not be almost 6 months into exclusively breastfeeding my second baby without her. She is full of knowledge, always available for any concerns and will always check in. Viv made me feel so comfortable during the home visit. I cannot recommend her or sing her praises enough! Her support group members are all very welcoming and friendly. If you want to breastfeed and are struggling or worried with anything, Viv is the one who will make it happen for you. I would have given up if it wasn't for her and her group. I truly feel my encounter with Viv has made parenting a lot easier this time around. Thank you x

I found Viv before giving birth so I could be informed. I did the breastfeeding webinar which was great. Viv checked in when I gave birth and we were doing ok. 4 weeks in, we were struggling with feeding frequency (relentless!) and I was worried about weight gain. The HV just told me not to worry, but Viv actually listened and helped. With the consultation, weekly check in at her cafe and the frequent reassuring messages, I feel we've turned a corner and I'm not constantly worried and can start to enjoy breastfeeding. Thanks Viv!

Viv was amazing from the first video call during pregnancy, to her lovely Instagram messages now 7 months on. I had twins, tiny twins, who both struggled to feed, but with Viv’s help, I managed to EBF/ pump for nearly two months for two babies. She replied to endless videos and WhatsApp’s and visited us any time we asked. She was supportive and nurturing on the difficult days and completely non-judgemental when my BF journey ended. I couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you so much for everything!

I recently attended Viv’s weaning workshop and wow what a bargain! Being a member of Viv’s £5 a month private support group we got this workshop discounted 🥳 I did baby led weaning with my first daughter however as she wasn’t breastfed, I wanted to learn more about weaning and how that could impact your milk supply. I had a few questions ready but Viv answered them all without me needing to ask. We covered such a wide variety of topics all backed up by evidence based data and truly helped to start our weaning journey in the right way. I would highly recommend Viv’s weaning workshop as I felt so much more confident afterwards.

I had heard of Vivian during my NCT class and that she had got glowing reviews from other mums. When my son was born I wasn’t too concerned about his feeding ( breast feeding) apart from health visitor advising the weight gain wasn’t was what was expected and that he would be checked in two weeks and if no improvement to introduce formula . By that point a few of my NCT mums had 121 support from Vivian and really recommended her. My initial contact with Vivian was very professional and she requested I completed a questionnaire so she could get a better understanding of the issue. I also mentioned a concern over cluster feeding and slight pain in one nipple. After submitting my responses I heard back from Vivian promptly saying she would carry out a 121 visit in my home. My visit lasted two hours and she was extremely thorough, she observed my feeding with my son and noted good latch . She gave me some useful feeding positions to try and Vivian examined my son to check for any physical issues, all was good and she was so lovely with him. She answered all my questions I had with feeding and sleeping and really made me feel at ease that I was doing a good job. The most useful advice I received was around pumping and recommended a bottle for transitioning baby as wanted my husband to help when I was missing for few hours . I have now signed up to her membership and find her continued support so beneficial especially when you can feel so alone when struggling with a newborn. I really recommend Vivian, she is very good at what she does on 121 level as well as her weekly group . She is a great supporter of women and I’m very glad I met her .

Simply the best!
I had a really tough start to breastfeeding and was so desperate not to give up so ended up reaching out to Vivian to see if she could help me and my baby. I had always wanted to breastfeed my baby and was so devastated when it didn't start well. All my friends and family were encouraging me to swap to formula as they hated seeing me in so much pain, but i was determined to continue and Vivian made that possible. She listened to my feelings, wants, goals and to the journey we had so far experienced and made continuing to breastfeed possible.
My baby was born with a tongue tie which we had cut at 4 days old, however at 1 month things were still rough - i was in pain with severe trauma (physically and emotionally) and my baby wasnt gaining weight brilliantly - and we discovered that her tongue tie had reattached so got it cut once again. Vivian was able to support us both through this journey and although i ended up pumping and bottle feeding for a while, while i healed, i never stopped breastfeeding completely and with Vivians help, my baby is now 8 months and we are now exclusively breastfeeding again and i am finally experiencing the breastfeeding bond i always dreamed of. Thank you Vivian - you not only saved my breastfeeding journey but my family dynamic, and my mental health. Having you there every step of the way has been incredible and i am so pleased i found you.

I don't know where to start...after having a prwmature baby in special care who had to gain weight and have monitored feeds, I found myself exclusively pumping and after 8 weeks struggled breastfeeding for various reasons. I was ready to give up and turn to formula, worried my baby would fail to thrive due to his low weight... That was until I found Vivien and I can honestly say after one visit I feel confident and comfortable starting this breastfeeding journey. She was so caring ,I felt so comfortable and safe, and able to let her take over which made the whole session an enjoyable and insightful experience. I felt heard and I now have the tools and knowledge and support to continue. I would highly recommend Vivien, a beautiful soul iniside and out!

Viv is an angel. It’s fair to say that breastfeeding was difficult from the start for us. I never intended to do anything but exclusively breast feed, but with a complicated, traumatic birth and emergency c-section, a poor latch, a suspected tongue tie (which finally got snipped at 7 weeks due to her suggestion and referral), a unsupportive nhs and a lot of pain and fussiness, we were up against it. Both the physical and emotional symptoms were handled with expert grace and care. Viv was so kind to me (and my baby and partner) when we needed her most, and answered many distressed messages, late night rants and always checks up on me. We’re still working towards exclusive breastfeeding, combi feeding right now, but I couldn’t recommend Viv more, she’s a genuine joy to know and saved my body and mind.

I can honestly say Viv has been the best asset to our breastfeeding journey!

As a first time mum, I was lucky that our journey got off to a good start. He had his first feed soon after birth, seemed to latch well and all appeared ok until week 3 when he wasn't gaining as much weight as to be expected. We then had a good weight week so were discharged from the midwife. Luckily I then contacted Viv and booked in a consultation although by then (5 weeks old) we were dropping off the chart. He went down to the 1st centile at our lowest... Viv started us on a programme of triple feeding and weekly weigh-ins and was the best support I could ever have hoped for. At 4 months old we were finally given the all clear to stop triple feeding, we are now exclusively breastfeeding again and he is happily climbing around the 5th centile.

Had we not had Viv I think we would have been told to swap to formula completely for his weight concerns. If it not for Viv's constant support and check-ins I don't think I would have been able to still be breastfeeding either!

We still love going to the Wednesday group every week and have also recently joined one of Viv's weaning clinics which was very insightful on how to start introducing solids with minimal impact to the boob!

Thank you Viv, you are our fairy godmother! ❤️
