My 9yr son has been having guitar lessons here for over a year and loves it!..he has come on leaps and bounds and learnt so much! Ben is a great teacher who follows his music tastes and is very encouraging..he can now play anything from Jimi Hendrix, Stones, Bowie to Red hot chili peppers or Nirvana. I would highly recommend Go2 Music academy! 🤘

I couldn't recommend Ben highly enough. As an intermediate guitarist I was looking for ways to level up my playing. I've not only been exposed to a whole array of new ideas and concepts but have also been able to apply what I've learnt and introduce it into songs and styles I'm more familiar with. I am currently tackling certain theoretical elements that I have all but put off up until now, and Ben has been on hand to ease me into it and answer my many questions

I have only been playing guitar for a year and having lessons with Ben. He has really brought my playing to a new level. I have learned so many new songs and a large portion of the theory side of playing guitar such as the C major scale, pentatonic shapes and being able to play in different keys. The lessons have really widened my understanding of the guitar and I urge anyone to take these lessons if they feel they want to take their playing to the next level.

I have wanted to learn the ukulele for a while now, and when lockdown hit realised I had no excuse not to.<br>I was very anxious at first, as I am in my thirties and have never picked up a stringed instrument. Ben has been great with me, he's really patient, understanding and encouraging, which has really helped with my confidence.<br>I leave every lesson excited to practice what he has taught me, and looking forward to showing him my progress.<br>I also have a very demanding job, and he has been very accommodating with my work constraints.

Where possible he works with pieces chosen by his students, that they know and like, rather than choosing music that might not be of interest just to define a certain style or technique and all at a very reasonable price.

Ben is firstly a fantastic guy and better still a great teacher. He has taught my son for the last three years and he has come on leaps and bounds. Ben's approach seems to really work with Mylo and I see Ben's enthusiasm has really rubbed off. During Covid he has gone the extra mile to stay in touch and keep Mylo engaged. I would whole heartedly encourage anyone to give Ben's lessons a try and I know you will not be disapointed.

He listened to what I wanted to achieve and what sort of music I was looking to play, and tailored every lesson to picking up that style. I'm learning through songs I know and love, and always feel I have accomplished getting that bit better after every lesson. He has the patience of a Saint as I can get impatient with myself, and breaks it down in ways I can understand so I can pick it up. Glad I found Ben, via the internet. I have been trying to learn the guitar for quite a few years now. I hadn't played for 18 months. But decided to have another try.
With Bens' help hopefully I will get to play a whole song from start to finish!!

I have beenn having lessons with Ben for 6 weeks now, unfortunately, we are only able to have lessons via video link.<br>His set-up for this is very good(as long as there is a good signal), sound quality is good.<br>Looking forward to meeting him and having one-to-one lessons in person.<br>I have a 45 minute lesson, once a week. I find that this is enough at the moment. But hopefully, as I improve, I may up it to an hour.<br>Thanks Ben.

Ben is super-friendly, a great guitarist himself and a great teacher too! He always gives me some good exercises at the end of a lesson, like scale runs, and most of my lesson is learning tunes he's tabbed out himself. He always replies to my questions, and has helped me come a long way in a short time!

Myself and my seven year old son Charlie have been having guitar lessons for about 4 weeks now, and we have both been loving them. Ben is very patient with Charlie and me! He makes the lessons fun and is very knowledgeable, I have learnt a lot in the short space of time I have been learning with him. I would definitely recommend Ben for people of all levels and ages. As part of my retirement experience I decided to learn to play the guitar. I found Ben as a tutor local to me in Sussex and have been having regular lessons since. I find Ben to be a professional and knowledgeable tutor happy to work at my pace and development. It is great to cover with him a wide range of different music genre's of interest to me. His style of teaching will suit students of all ages and abilities.
