I love coffee and can hand on heart say that The Foundry is now my favourite coffee!! I've been in there a few times now, and the plastic cups threw me off a little the first time, but absolutely amazing taste made just they way I like it. My other half is really fussy about plastic or paper cups but even he said it doesn't bother him. The staff are all very friendly and the atmosphere inviting. Cost-wise, a little pricey however well worth it and I prefer knowing that my money is being spent on a quality product from an independent business. I also have their app now that rewards loyalty. Looking forward to checking out the new shop on Grove Road.

Always love to come here when on a trip to Eastbourne as the service is friendly, ambiance is chilled and they do a good decaf latte, always with a few nice vegan options to accompany also.

Visited while waiting for the train. The iced latte was nice. The staff were friendly and the cafe offered fresh lemonade water. Absolutely recommended if you’re seeking for grabbing a coffee and don’t want to rush for catching up the train!!!

Excellent vegan options and the best decaf coffee in Eastbourne. Vegan breakfast wrap is amazing as are the vegan pancakes. Haven't tried any of the vegan sandwiches yet. Vegan cakes are limited to one or two. One of the few places you can sit out in the sunshine for much of the day if you don't mind the traffic.

Lovely looking place, and good coffee etc, but the prices are extorionate, even in the current climate. E.g £4 for a brownie/rocky road type of cake. Feels like greed tbh.

Just when you think you have found the perfect coffee venue, another pops up, I must say the coffee at this venue is sublime, the flavours, the texture are amazing, the bacon bap was nice not so sure ove £4 nice but none the less it was a great venue! 😀

There's very few reasons I'd ever drink my coffee elsewhere in Eastbourne. Foundry serves Speciality grade coffee the way it should be, and to my knowledge it's the only place in the town that does so. Been here a few days in a row (not including Christmas obviously) and the service is okay and consistent. Can't speak for the food however as it's a little out my usual price range. It's good to see them not just serving but also stocking coffee beans and brewing equipment. Overall, are there nicer coffee shops in Eastbourne? Yes. Is there a better tasting cup of coffee in Eastbourne? Hell no!
