Chose this game as my local club weren't playing Nice little ground when I eventually got there The train pulled in before I got to the ticket office and had to squeeze on board clearly noting that South Eastern trains had their claim blown out the water about additional carriages being added as I had to change trains I went to get a ticket only to discover Southern trains weren't running due to industrial action so this meant a 85 minute bus ride to Eastbourne from Hastings having finally found the ground a couple of minutes before kick off the first turnstile I found was out of use. So had to take a detour along 2 streets and around a cricket pitch to get in very cosy comfortable social club and as I said Nice little ground friendly ground staff and a match day announcer who tried to do a impression of a Brazilian commentator when Eastbourne scored you would have thought it was the winning goal but they were 3 down before scoring The one negative The childish antics of a visiting supporter when the ball went out of play. He went to return the ball to the goal keeper but at the last moment threw it to the side very juvenile in my opinion Apart from that a good afternoon out

I love going here. This ground is in the shadow of the town hall clock. I saw the Eastbourne Derby when Town thrashed United 8-1. The Saffrons is definitely worth a visit.
