Just had 2 small cod and chips. We thought they were excellent. Portion size was good for us. Very tasty and cooked to order. They are doing really well in their anti Covid practices as well. Well done.

We have been using Carter's for a long time now this is a lovley faimly run business buy husband and wife everything is freshly cooked wilst you wait the fish and chips are beautifully cooked with hardly very little oils so not greezey like meny we know that also do meny other choices and some of their food is actually made on site making it extremely fresh I have honestly never found a better fish and chips shop for meny a miles the best in east Sussex most definitely are number one favourite we definitely wouldn't go eny were else that are so very popular to and honest for example pay for a bag to take your fish and chips away in or please bring your own I was told a while back now so I take my own bag be patient wene very busy as everything is cooked freshly wilst you wait believe me well worth the wait wene busy as you cant get eny better definitely loads of parking outside that are located in Winston crescent in eastbourne east Sussex there is a co op just over the car park there a mens hair dressers a ladeys buity shop next door and the car shop just over the road and a small cafe on the corner I would most definitely recommend it to everyone a fab fish and chips shop with politeness and a very friendly atmosphere thank you carters faimy magnificent

I wasn't that impressed with the food from this family run Fish And Chips shop as I had ordered sausage n chips but my chips were not cooked from scratch as Im sure that they had been sitting in the oil for a while but the sausage was lovely, but at the end of the day there are a lot better Fish N Chip shop's around Eastbourne.
